Eddie and the Bricks sign with WAVY, drop pre-release single 'One of Your Boys' Aug 21

Eddie and the Bricks signed an exclusive contract with WAVY on August 19, 2026. Release mode: activated.

The four-piece — vocalist Eddie, guitarist Han Sung-won, bassist Oh Jun-seok, and drummer Kim Yi-chan — debuts under WAVY with the pre-release single One of Your Boys on August 21 at 6 PM via online music platforms. It's from their upcoming second EP Inbetweeners, due in September.

The song has a long backstory. Eddie held onto the demo for five years before finishing it with the full band. Simple guitar riffs in an early-2000s indie rock vein paired with a melody that's both refreshing and lyrical. Eddie also planned and directed the music video himself, pulling visuals from early-2000s romantic comedies to frame the song's sentiment.

This isn't new territory for Eddie at WAVY. He previously directed the music video for Colde's MYO and the lyric video for wave to earth's album bad pieces. The signing formalizes a creative relationship that already existed.

The band debuted in 2024 via the OST Pause for Tving original series Hwanseung Yeonae 3 (환승연애3). They released their first EP that same year and racked up over 6.3 million YouTube views on that debut track. (Six million views off an OST debut is not nothing.)

WAVY said the label plans "to support various activities so that Eddie and the Bricks can more broadly display their musical capabilities and individuality." Inbetweeners and the rollout around it will be the first real test.
