28 years in, god celebrated their 10,000th debut day with an Everland festival and are booked for two more festival stages this weekend.
god — Park Jun-hyung, Yoon Gye-sang, Danny Ahn, Son Ho-young, and Kim Tae-woo — are in their 28th year as a group. The schedule is packed.
May brought Haneulsaek Pungson Week (Sky Blue Balloon Week), a large-scale festival at Everland. Performances, pop-ups, exhibitions, fan participation events. The first time a K-pop idol act had held a festival of that scale at the theme park.
The fandom kept pace. Official fan club fangod (팬지오디) appeared on the K-pop fandom survival variety show Fandom Stage. The four members who showed up have a combined fan activity career of 110 years. On Bisstage, god took first place in the "Representative Teamwork" vote. Son Ho-young won the individual "Representative Puppy" category on his own.
Fan-funded ads blanketed roughly 1,000 CU convenience stores in Seoul on the 22nd and 23rd of this month. Son Ho-young had a solo spot on a large digital billboard in Gangnam.
Live dates: Sustainable Wave Festival on August 29th and 30th, then the 2026 Ink Festival on October 4th. Their catalog — Gil, Candlelight, To Mother, Lie — has kept them on festival bills for nearly three decades. (god is managed by Gemstone Entertainment.)
