Ha Seok-jin credits Park Ha-sun as best on-screen chemistry — then jokes he should have stayed away

Ha Seok-jin picked Park Ha-sun as his best co-star, then turned the compliment into a self-directed dig.

On the August 21 episode of MBN·Channel S variety show 전현무계획4 (Jeon Hyun-moo's Plan 4), Ha Seok-jin joined Min Jin-woong, Jeon Hyun-moo, and Kwak Tube for a restaurant trip in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province. When asked which co-star he'd clicked with most, he named Park Ha-sun without hesitation. Then he added, "I thought I shouldn't keep getting entangled with this kind of thing" — turning the compliment into a self-directed dig.

The two worked together on the 2016 tvN drama 혼술남녀 (Drinking Solo). Ha Seok-jin played star civil service exam instructor Jin Jeong-seok. Park Ha-sun played new instructor Park Ha-na. Asked about his approach to romantic acting, he kept it simple: "Sincerity." During filming, he said, he genuinely tries to feel affection for his co-star.

Ha Seok-jin is currently in KBS2 weekend drama 사랑이 온다 (Love Comes), playing chef Kim Mu-jin — who built his restaurant without family support — reuniting with his first love after eight years alongside An Hee-yeon.
