진진경 drops first original song '사랑은 파도를 타고' with DJ처리, targeting Korea and China simultaneously

진진경 (真真敬) put out her first original song, 사랑은 파도를 타고, at noon on August 13 across Korean and Chinese music platforms. A simultaneous Chinese-language version titled 아이 랑 (爱浪, Ài Làng) dropped the same day.

This is new territory. 진진경 built her catalog reinterpreting existing hit songs. She's said she plans to move away from remakes going forward.

DJ처리 (신철) produced the track. His resume includes planning, lyrics, and production on 김연자's 아모르 파티 and work on 송가인's 꽃이 아니면 어떤가. 장연선 wrote the Korean lyrics. DJ처리 and 김철인 co-composed. The whole thing moved fast — DJ처리 heard 진진경 was coming to Korea for an OST session, handed her the song directly, and she was in the studio three days after first listening.

The production team calls the sound PADO-TRONICA (파도트로니카): nudisco and electro as the base, layered with trot's melodic sensibility, EDM, orchestra, and reggae rhythm. It's framed as a summer dance track about love arriving unexpectedly, like a wave. The lyrics play with the double meaning. 파도에 뭔가 실려 올지 어떻게 미리 알겠어. 너의 매력은 파도 파도 끝이 없는 걸.

진진경 wrote the Chinese lyrics herself — not a straight translation, but something that preserves the feel and nuance of the language. The chorus sits easy to sing along to. The production team points to her clear, soft vocal tone as a key part of what the track is.
