Jungkook's GOLDEN hits 144 weeks on Spotify Weekly Top Albums Global, longest run by an Asian solo artist

Jungkook's solo debut album GOLDEN has now charted on Spotify's Weekly Top Albums Global for 144 consecutive weeks. No Asian solo artist has ever stayed on that chart this long. No Asian solo album had charted there at all before this one.

For the week of July 31–August 6, GOLDEN sat at No. 149. The album debuted at No. 2, held the top 5 for five straight weeks, and stayed inside the top 10 for six consecutive weeks. It topped Spotify's Top Album Debuts charts in the Global, US, and UK rankings on release.

The cumulative stream count on Spotify has cleared 7.35 billion—the highest total for any Asian artist's studio album on the platform. Daily streams are still averaging roughly 3.3 million.

GOLDEN spent 25 weeks on the Billboard 200. No Asian solo artist had reached that mark before. It logged eight weeks on the UK Official Albums Top 100, the longest chart run by any K-pop solo act. On iTunes, the album has logged 526 total days on the Worldwide Albums chart.

Jungkook's personal Spotify profile, counting all credited appearances, has reached 11.33 billion total streams. No other Asian artist reached that figure as quickly, and no K-pop solo artist had hit the milestone before him. Three years in, and the numbers are still moving.
