B, a former singer and actor who now runs a K-pop viral marketing agency, is facing allegations of unpaid vendor fees, employee wage arrears, and mounting legal disputes. Multiple outlets reported the story on August 11, 2026.

Starting in March, B's advertising agency handled online community and social media promotion timed to artists' music releases and comeback schedules. His younger sibling is the registered representative, but B ran day-to-day operations. Multiple subcontractors say they haven't received agency fees or service charges for months.

One subcontractor representative, identified as C, was direct: "Two months of payment is overdue, which is a major blow to small vendors like us." C said settlement should have wrapped by May at the latest. B's side asked them to wait until the end of July. The payment date has kept shifting since.

B acknowledged the situation, citing closure procedures: "There are unpaid funds that have not yet been deposited, so there are difficulties in settlement. I will definitely deposit by early August." That early-August deadline passed without the fees being deposited.

The company is now in wind-down proceedings. Beyond vendor payments, B's company also faces employee wage arrears and an ongoing legal dispute with a content production company. Legal exposure across unpaid fees, wage arrears, and contract non-performance could reach hundreds of millions of won.

B's father, A, is mid-run on a nationwide tour concert. He distanced himself entirely: "Due to personal issues, I am currently out of contact with my son. I have no knowledge of this controversy and have not been involved in the company's operations." (The father-son broadcast appearances and joint music releases are apparently done.)
