LATENCY's Ji Ji-won shares vending machine selfie, updates fans on group's 2026 run
LATENCY sub-guitarist Ji Ji-won posted an indoor selfie on August 5, her first public update in a while.
Ji Ji-won (김지원, 26) posed in front of an indoor vending machine for a photo posted August 5.
She plays sub-guitar and sings main vocals in five-member girl band LATENCY alongside Huiyeon, Haeun, Hyeonjin, and Semi. The group debuted January 8, 2026 with single 사랑이었는데. Their first mini-album LATE O'CLOCK arrived March 18 with five tracks, including title cut LATENCY and the pre-release single. At the LATE O'CLOCK showcase at Seoul Sangam Shocking K-pop Center, members said they were "nervous because it's a new challenge."
Ji Ji-won's path to LATENCY spans years. She debuted in 2017 with Good Day on EP ALL DAY GOOD DAY. In 2020 she re-debuted as lead vocal for Signature's debut lead single NUN NU NAN NA, releasing solo tracks Eternal Time and 바다 가자 during her time with the group. She announced her solo identity ZZONE in 2025 with single Devil's Jam, which included a pre-release stage and supporting content.
She co-hosted entertainment show 노빠꾸탁재훈 season 3, which had an underground interrogation room concept. Born in Busan, raised in Seoul. Her motto: "사랑하며 살자" (live with love). (The vending machine energy tracks with that pretty well.)
