E.G Entertainment dropped a ballad duet on August 18 from two vocalists who'd already hosted a YouTube talk show together.

Lee Jeong-bong and Jeon Cho-a released their first duet together — the ballad 어른이 될 수 있을까 (Can We Become Adults) — on August 18 at noon across online music platforms. The music video arrived simultaneously.
Both had already appeared on E.G Entertainment's official YouTube live talk show 추억 속의 멜로디. Lee Jeong-bong is a ballad singer with 어떤가요 and 그녀를 위해 in his catalog. Jeon Cho-a has 어쩌다가 and 널 사랑해. The new track explores longing after a breakup, built around each artist's distinct musical character.
Kim Ki-ho (Rebuild) wrote, composed, and arranged the song. Pianist-composer Shin Sung-jin handled string arrangement, while illustrator O-mood designed the album jacket. Producer Han-yul oversaw overall planning and production and wrote the lyrics. Director Kang In-ho and assistant director Oh In-seo directed the MV, with Lucete Studio editing and Big Data Marketing K also involved in production.
The MV featured rookie actor Ju Hyun — currently enrolled in a theater and film program — as the male lead, and Hwang Si-eun as the female lead. Hwang worked as a kids model, appeared on SBS 유니버스 티켓, and now majors in acting at Lira Art High School.
Han-yul wanted the song to help listeners "recall precious moments spent with loved ones." The contrasting tones of the two vocalists completed that vision. (He also framed it as a late-summer listen: "a song that allows you to reflect on the meaning of love, parting, and growth at the end of summer.") The label said future projects will continue linking music with various content formats.
