'Let's Get Divorced' Ep 2: Lee Min-jung's character throws her ring, declares divorce and calls husband a murderer
Episode 2 of KBS Drama/GTV's 'Let's Get Divorced' aired August 20, with Baek Mi-young throwing her wedding ring into a river and demanding a divorce.
Lee Min-jung's character Baek Mi-young hurled her wedding ring into a river and told her husband to get a divorce in episode 2 of 그래, 이혼하자 (Let's Get Divorced), which aired August 20 at 11 PM on KBS Drama and GTV.
The eruption started over a broadcaster's offer for Baek Mi-young and her husband Ji Won-ho (Kim Ji-seok) to appear together on a variety show. Things came to a head at a party held at Calvin Hotel, where Baek Mi-young ran into her ex-boyfriend Calvin (Lee Hyun-jin). She shut him down: "From now on, I'd appreciate it if you'd pretend you don't know me."
Then she turned on Ji Won-ho. "You're a murderer," she said. "No, worse than a murderer." She had made her decision. "Let's get divorced."
The same party saw other confessions unfold. Ahn Hee-joo (Lee Jin-i), who met Ji Won-ho in Milan eight years ago and has loved him since, told him exactly how she felt. Cheon Man-ju (Lee Su-ji), who was pregnant, collapsed after wearing a waist-compressing dress. She later delivered a daughter safely.
Joo Sung-woo directed the drama. Hwang Ji-eon wrote it. Moon Hee-kyung plays mother-in-law Ryu Mi-soon.
