Lee Soo of M.C the MAX released Go, Go! on August 12. The track opens a project building toward his 10th studio album, his first full-length record in eight years.
It arrives 3 years and 8 months after his last standalone single 흩어지지 않게 (December 2022). Three months have passed since the digital single A Boy From The Moon (2026). Composer DAVINK, who worked with Lee Soo on both the Moon Child era (A Boy From The Moon, Someday) and M.C the MAX's catalog (Returns, Hope, Listen, Far Away, Fever), contributed to the new song.
Go, Go! reinterprets the bright, upbeat energy of 1990s pop through a modern lens. It's a deliberate departure from the explosive ballad style Lee Soo is known for—he's attempting a rhythmic, free-form vocal approach instead. (Eight years between full-lengths and he comes back swinging with a genre pivot.)
Lee Soo, under agency 325 E&C, plans to present multiple genres and expressions through new songs and performances, channeling his accumulated musical depth in different directions.
The comeback runs alongside a two-night solo concert, DSOTM, set for August 29 and 30 at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
