Moon Geun-young, Moon Chae-won, Seo Hye-won: Three Korean actresses announce surprise marriages

Moon Geun-young is married. She announced it herself in a handwritten letter, confirming her husband is Jeong Pyeong — an actor seven years her senior who has worked in musicals, theater, and television dramas.

They met on the tvN drama Catch the Ghost, then reunited at Bachi, a creative collective where Moon Geun-young served as director. "I met someone I want to walk together on a path I always walked alone," she wrote, asking fans for "congratulations and encouragement rather than worry and concern."

Moon Chae-won announced her marriage earlier. BlitzwayEntertainment confirmed in April that she would wed in June. She followed with her own statement: "I am a bit nervous about building and nurturing a family, but more excited." She married a non-celebrity husband with many people's blessings.

Seo Hye-won moved fastest. She revealed in April that she had already married, skipping a formal ceremony for what she called "our own quiet promise." Four months later, on the 10th, she shared that she is pregnant. Baby clothes arrived with a note: "Bless and anticipate the birth of Hyewon's baby. Become a happy mom."
