MW:MEU kicks off second comeback with 'Girls' Night' on M Countdown, mini album 'With U' due Sept 15

MW:MEU hit the M Countdown stage on August 27 with "Girls' Night," a pre-release track from their upcoming mini album With U, due September 15.

Jihan, Ivy, Sua, Kana, and Choeun performed in pajama-concept outfits. The stage design centered on a fantastical night theme—five girls turning dreams and ideals into reality. Choreographer Root, who recently worked on Hearts2Hearts' "FOCUS," kiiikiii's "404," and Billlie's "WORK," created the movement. A VRECORD representative noted: "Since it was their first broadcast stage in a long time, members put effort into preparing every detail of the song and choreography."

"Girls' Night" layers city pop atmosphere over new jack swing's upbeat drum sound. Lyrically, it captures a moment of stepping away from the world, dropping pretense, and being drawn to each other with bright, free energy. The music video dropped September 25; teaser content before that centered on new member Kana's story.

The mini album's title track, With U, takes a different sonic direction—an uptempo house song mixing chiptune sound with a repetitive melody. MW:MEU debuted in April with pre-release track "Gummy Clock" and title track "Paper Plane." This is their second comeback.

A showcase is planned for the September 15 album release. Additional promotional content will roll out sequentially before then.
