Trot singer Na Sang-do drops special album 'Jihwaja' on August 15 at 6 PM, his first release since '휴게소 부르스' in January.

Na Sang-do is back. The trot singer releases his four-track special album Jihwaja (지화자) on August 15 at 6 PM across music streaming platforms, seven months after his January release Hyugeoso Beulleusu (휴게소 부르스).
The title track opens with the refrain "지화자 좋다, 얼씨구나 좋아" set against a traditional trot rhythm. Straight-down-the-middle jeong-tong trot, no detours. The album's three other tracks each carry their own history: Kok Kok Kok (콕콕콕) is a remade version of the song he performed at the TV Chosun Mr. Trot 2 semi-final new song mission, reworked with a refined sound. Beoldeok Irona (벌떡 일어나) is his 2017 debut single. Eomuni (어무니) is a digital single originally released in 2023.
Na debuted in 2017 with Beoldeok Irona and placed 4th in the Mr. Trot 2 finale. He currently holds down three broadcast roles simultaneously—DJ on BTN Radio's Kwaengnam Yeoljeon (쾌남열전), MC on TJB's Jeongguk TOP10 Gayosho (전국 TOP10 가요쇼), and fixed panelist on KBS 1TV's Achim Madang (아침마당). He recently appeared in the musical Girlfriend (걸프렌드).
His fan club Sangdobaragi (상도바라기) donated 5 million won to Namhae County on August 13 as a hometown love contribution, then decided to pass the 1.5 million won worth of return gifts back into the local community as well.
