Nam Yu-jeong opened up about her 2024 breakup with actor Lee Gyu-han, revealing that her priorities have shifted from looks to humor and real communication.

Singer Nam Yu-jeong addressed her split from actor Lee Gyu-han on the August 24 morning broadcast of KBS Cool FM's Park Myung-soo's Radio Show.
The two went public in 2023. Lee was 11 years her senior. They broke up in 2024, roughly a year after confirming the relationship. Nam's ideal type has evolved since then. "In the past, I only looked at appearance. Now, someone humorous and someone I communicate well with is the best."
She also talked about her YouTube channel Yurala, where she visited a matchmaking agency as content—with Wanna One's Yoon Ji-sung. The agency's scoring rubric was brutal. A perfect score required an annual salary of 500 million won or more, and assets of 10 billion won or more. Nam gave herself a perfect score in one category anyway. "I gave myself a perfect score in the category of momentum," she said.
On Yoon Ji-sung, she was direct about their friendship: "Even if only the two of us remained in this world, nothing would happen. I guarantee it."
Nam also mentioned she keeps a diary almost every day and told host Park Myung-soo she had watched Infinite Challenge since middle school—with Park as her favorite cast member. (Flattery, or just facts? Either way, it landed.)
When it comes to relationships, she tends to stay in them for a long time once she's committed.
