Nam Yu-jeong drops a remake album this August, complete with a 5-part fake documentary series tracking her search for love.

Nam Yu-jeong, formerly of Brave Girls (now 브브걸), is releasing her first solo album this August under agency R&D Company. It's a remake record—familiar songs re-recorded in her own vocal style, every track centered on love.
"I am finally releasing my first solo album for the first time," she said. The songs were ones she personally loved, and her only goal is for audiences to enjoy them when she performs them on festival stages.
R&D Company paired the release with a five-part fake documentary series titled 남유정은 사랑을 하고 싶다 (Nam Yu-jeong Wants to Love). The concept follows Nam Yu-jeong searching for real love—a natural fit given that every album track is a love song. Episode 1, subtitled 남유정은 나를 먼저 알고 싶다 (Nam Yu-jeong Wants to Know Herself First), dropped on August 5 via her official YouTube channel. Remaining episodes will roll out sequentially there, with additional solo album content on official SNS channels.
Before the album lands, she performs at Waterbomb Sokcho 2026 (워터밤 속초 2026) on August 22.
