Nam Yu-jeong on dating: "Too fast a pace feels burdensome"
A year after splitting from actor Lee Gyu-han, the Brave Girls alum shared what she looks for—and doesn't—in a partner during an Oct. 22 radio appearance.

Nam Yu-jeong, formerly of Brave Girls, appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM's Kultwo Show on October 22 and laid out exactly what puts her off a potential partner. TVXQ's Choi Changmin sat in as special DJ. B1A4's Shinwoo joined as a fellow guest.
Asked about her approach to dating, Nam was direct:
"People with too fast a pace can feel burdensome. 'Will this last long?' — that suspicion kicks in."
She tends to avoid people who are excessively enthusiastic without saying much. Real effort from a suitor, though, registers differently: "It must have taken a lot of time and if they kept doing events, it must have cost a lot of money. It wasn't ordinary effort."
The Lee Gyu-han chapter
Nam publicly confirmed a relationship with actor Lee Gyu-han in 2023. Their 11-year age gap drew attention. They split in 2024, roughly a year into dating.
Since wrapping group activities with Brave Girls (브브걸), Nam has been building out a solo career as a singer.
