NCT 127 to perform on America's Got Talent ahead of 7th album 'BLINGY' drop
NCT 127 hits America's Got Talent on Aug. 19 from Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Five days later, their 7th album 'BLINGY' arrives.
NCT 127 will perform as a special guest on NBC's America's Got Talent on August 19 (local time), live from Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California.
The show's official SNS account announced the booking and called the group "K-pop superstars" in the post. America's Got Talent is in its 21st season this year — an audition format spanning singing, dance, comedy, acrobatics, and magic.
The appearance lands five days before NCT 127 drops their regular 7th album, BLINGY, on August 24. The nine-track record is led by the self-titled title track "Blingy."
The US push has been building for a while. In July, outdoor ad campaigns across New York and LA sent NCT 127 to the top of US X real-time trending. They're also set to perform at KCON LA, making America's Got Talent one stop in a broader American promotional run ahead of the album.
Seventh full-length for a group that debuted in 2017. The BLINGY era is clearly going all-in on the US market.
