Ten years in, still adding stops
Jaehyun debuted in 2016 with NCT U's digital single 일곱 번째 감각 (The 7th Sense), then moved into full group activity that same year with NCT 127's first mini album NCT #127. He's worked across NCT 127, NCT U, and unit NCT DoJaeJung as main vocal and lead dancer. DoJaeJung's first mini album Perfume came in 2023.
His solo era kicked off in August 2024 with regular album J, preceded by pre-release single Roses/ Dandelion and followed by digital single Unconditional that year. He returned on July 10, 2026 with digital single 99 Degrees, and contributed to NCT 127's seventh regular album BLINKY, released in August 2026.
From military discharge to Milan
Jaehyun enlisted in the military band in November 2024, completed approximately 18 months of service as a sergeant in the Army Military Academy Support Unit, and was discharged on May 3, 2026. The current tour marks his first major activity cycle post-service. He recently departed through Incheon International Airport for a schedule in Milan.
On screen, he played Kim Junwoo in the 2024 film 6시간 후 너는 죽는다 and Cha Minho in the 2025 drama 디어엠. Earlier he hosted SBS Power FM's NCT의 night night! from 2017 to 2019 and worked as a fixed MC on SBS 인기가요.
