Hae-rin's Marie Claire Korea September cover, shot with Dior Beauty, marks her first individual activity since the group's exclusive contract dispute with ADOR ended.

NewJeans member Hae-rin is on the cover of Marie Claire Korea's September 2026 issue. Her last magazine cover was Elle Japan in February of last year.
Marie Claire revealed the shoot on Instagram on August 14. It was produced in partnership with Dior Beauty, featuring looks built around Miss Dior and Rouge Dior products.
The timing carries weight. NewJeans spent roughly one year—from November 2024—in an exclusive contract dispute with ADOR. The label lost the first-trial lawsuit over confirmation of the contract's validity in October of last year. The group subsequently returned to the label. Hae-rin's cover is the first individual activity to come out of that return.
The four-member lineup going forward is Min-ji, Hae-rin, Hye-in, and Ha-ni; Daniel was removed from the group. ADOR has already released content featuring all four, which the label framed as a comeback signal.
In July, NewJeans' official SNS posted four-member content marking the group's 4th debut anniversary. The posts built anticipation for a four-member comeback. Hurt—a track from the group's debut album—crossed 300 million cumulative streams on Spotify.
