Park Hyun-bin reveals '샤방샤방' topped prenatal music charts, beating Beethoven and Mozart

Park Hyun-bin's '샤방샤방' beat out classical music on the prenatal education song chart. He told the story on TV Chosun's 금타는 금요일 on August 7, appearing as the first Golden Star of Chapter 3.

"It was really difficult to beat Beethoven and Mozart," he said. The result was striking: fetuses that showed no reaction to classical music did somersaults in the womb the moment '샤방샤방' came on—specifically at the lyric "아주 그냥 죽여줘요" ("just kill it").

That same lyric triggered a broadcast ban. Park has faced unsuitability judgments throughout his career, and '샤방샤방' was flagged over the word "죽여줘요."

His other hit, '앗! 뜨거', carries its own censorship story. Park starred in the MV as a detective chasing a serial killer through murder scenes. The crime content earned an unsuitability judgment. He still opens live performances with it. (A song too intense for broadcast but fine as a concert opener—very on-brand.)

That night, Park performed '곤드레 만드레', '샤방샤방', and '오빠만 믿어'. Contestant 천록담 (Cheon Rok-dam) selected Park's '고래' for the selection stage; Park responded with "It fits just right." Her rival, 춘길 (Chun-gil)—the 2nd-generation Golden Cup champion—picked '미안해요' from Park's 1st album. Park called it "the most normal song of mine" that "passed review exactly," adding that choosing it "means throwing down a winning move."

The two contestants have faced off six times. Their record stands at 3 wins and 3 losses each. Chun-gil said ahead of the match: "I should take the third Golden Cup as well."
