POW's 'FLAVOR' hits Bugs real-time top 4 as search volume surges in first summer comeback

POW's first summer comeback is working. The five-member group released FLAVOR in July 2024 and has climbed to No. 4 on Bugs' real-time chart and No. 33 on Melon's latest release chart.

Search volume for POW rose roughly 1.26 times compared to pre-release levels. Community mentions tied to the English name POW grew about 1.64 times. Leader Yochi pulled the biggest individual spike—a 3.53x increase in search volume, the highest among any member. Yochi also produced every track on the single.

The concept is POW Beauty Factory, framing each of the five members' distinct personalities as a different "Flavor." POW said: "We put energy that bursts refreshingly like carbonation into both the stage and music. You will be able to feel POW's unique color properly, just like the name 'FLAVOR'."

The group debuted the comeback stage on Mnet M Countdown on July 30, followed by KBS2 Music Bank on July 31. Then it gets dense. Show! Champion (MBC M, August 5). M Countdown again (August 6). Music Bank again (August 7). Show! Music Core (MBC, August 8). The Show (SBS M·SBS FiL, August 11). Five shows in seven days.
