Aug. 17 brought table tennis and wish-granting to *My Remaining Romance*—plus a school uniform date that had Choi Ye-na calling foul.

SBS's My Remaining Romance aired on August 17. Seo Ro-bin's table tennis date with Kim Jong-eun dominated the episode.
Seo Ro-bin chose the venue himself. "I'm good at table tennis, so I thought I could show my charm, and I'd always wanted to try a table tennis date," he said. The match had wish-granting rights attached. His competitive instinct kicked in fast. "I'm so nervous because I think I'll do it seriously," he admitted. "My competitive spirit rose without me knowing."
Here's the catch: he wanted to lose. "I was curious what kind of wish Jong-eun would tell me," he explained. Off the court, things got real. Seo Ro-bin asked Kim Jong-eun directly if he gets shy easily. "I really do get shy easily," Kim Jong-eun said. The question bounced back—did Seo Ro-bin approach people he's interested in first? "I just keep talking to them," he answered.
After it ended, Seo Ro-bin was still turning it over in his head. "I was so thrilled," he said. He wondered if Kim Jong-eun's earlier comment about expressing himself through actions rather than words had been aimed at him. "It might be my misunderstanding, but I was thrilled."
Kang Min-young and Kim Sun-ho went on a school uniform date elsewhere in the episode. Kang Min-young had always wanted to eat tteokbokki with classmates in middle school—her legs hurt, so she went straight home instead. She wanted that memory now. Kim Sun-ho leaned in. "After hearing that story, I wanted to do my best. I want to create unforgettable memories for you."
Choi Ye-na watched and weighed in. The couple was "like a music video," she said. "So cute." They "match so well." Seo Ro-bin got less love. "You should leave now that you've eaten," she told him. "You have no sense."
My Remaining Romance airs every Monday at 10 PM on SBS.
