Seo Yu-jeong thought Park Jun-hyung's post-divorce drink was heartfelt — he sent it to 50 celebrities

Seo Yu-jeong thought she had a moment. Turns out she was on a distribution list.

On August 13, the comedian appeared on her YouTube channel 유정 그리고 주정 with Park Jun-hyung and walked through how he reacted when she told him about her divorce. "Right after I told him about the divorce, oppa said, 'Don't ask anything, just tell me your address,'" she said. He sent her a beverage. "That felt like comfort to me, like 'don't worry.' It seemed like oppa was checking on my well-being."

Park Jun-hyung's version of events was less romantic. The drink was a friend's brand product he'd been asked to distribute to celebrities. "I didn't just give it to you, I gave it to about 50 celebrities," he said. "I didn't know it was that timing."

(The accidental comfort is somehow still kind of sweet.)

Seo Yu-jeong married a company employee three years her senior in 2017 and has one daughter. She divorced in 2023 and has been living as a single mother since. On July 17, she disclosed on the same channel that she had spent all her savings during a long break from activities. "The fact of not having money is not embarrassing," she said—only living improperly would be.

Park Jun-hyung married fellow comedian Kim Ji-hye in 2005. The couple have two daughters.
