SF9 set for Aug. 26 comeback with second studio album 'TENACITY', 10th anniversary events planned

SF9 will release their second studio album TENACITY on August 26 — a full-group comeback timed to their 10th debut anniversary.

The album centers on a narrative of confronting self-imposed limits. Members who believed they had lost their wings come to realize, through love, that the cage holding them back was internal all along. TENACITY signals that spirit of unwavering will pushing against new limits.

The rollout started with the BREAK THE CAGE website. Cage-shaped wax-popping balls (왁뿌볼) sit on the page; break one and a handwritten fortune message from an SF9 member appears, with different messages surfacing on repeat plays. The site also carries an early-listen tab for album tracks and a love letter section where members write directly to their fanbase, Pantasia. The content trended on X immediately after going live.

Offline, SF9 is planning a pop-up store and Photoism events as part of the anniversary push. More in-person events will follow through the rest of the 10th-anniversary schedule. The group's variety series 셒구상사 — an office-set mix of scripted and reality content that first aired in 2019 — is also teasing a new outing episode as part of the comeback season content.
