Tabber and DEAN to share Summer Sonic 2026 stage in Japan

Tabber (Kim Hyun-jun) and DEAN will perform together at Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan on August 15 and 16. It's a natural pairing: DEAN founded Tabber's label, you.will.knovv, and they've worked together before. Most recently on 2024's Chi-Ka (feat. DEAN), and earlier on Honey! from Tabber's 2020 debut EP.

The Summer Sonic appearance comes roughly three months after Tabber released New Moon on May 14, 2026, a pre-release single for his upcoming EP Modern Goth. He also played the Seoul Jazz Festival in May.

Tabber, 31, born December 10, 1994, has been building his catalog steadily since the six-track debut EP Deep End Mix Tape dropped August 13, 2020. That project's title track was Look At My, with features from 김심야, 황소윤, and DEAN across the rest of the tracklist. His 2023 EP Madness Always Turns to Sadness included Being (Feat. 백예린) and Invisible Man (feat. Kim Hanjoo). The Paul Blanco and Miso collab Creepin' was on there too—his busiest feature run to date.

On the TV side, Tabber competed on Show Me the Money 10. He earned a passing necklace in Slom's first screening, an ALL PASS in the second preliminary round on the strength of his singing-rap style, and ultimately finished 11th after joining the Gaeko X Code Kunst team through the song mission, diss battle, and main stage rounds.
