TWS kicks off Japanese single era with Tokyo showcase and packed August schedule

TWS held a showcase in Tokyo on August 3 to launch their Japanese single 2nd album SODA SODA. The full event streamed live on Weverse and the group's official TikTok channel.

At midnight on August 4, the album dropped across music platforms with three tracks: title track SODA SODA, Palm Tree (a song about leisure at a summer beach at night), and the Japanese-language version of My S, You Become My N from their mini 2nd album SUMMER BEAT!. Gyeongmin, Youngjae, and Jihun co-wrote SODA SODA. The title track had already entered LINE MUSIC's real-time Song Top 100 chart on August 3 when advance audio went live.

During the showcase, the group spoke to their fandom (42): "We are very excited to see 42 again. We hope you enjoy a refreshing summer with TWS." They added, "We waited for the moment to make eye contact with 42 members on stage and sing. We want to create a summer festival-like time together."

The Japan schedule packs in fast. TWS appears on Fuji TV's music broadcast STAR on August 6, then performs at Mezamashi WANGAN Festival on August 7. Summer Sonic 2026 comes August 14 and 16. Four major Japan stages in under two weeks. Their Asia tour 24/7:FOR:YOU continues with Fukuoka dates August 28–30, Hyogo September 4–6, and Kanagawa September 12–13.
