TWS' 'SODA SODA' hits #1 on Oricon Daily with 161,253 first-day copies
TWS's 2nd Japanese single sold more in one day than their debut single managed in its entire first week, topping the Oricon Daily Singles Ranking on August 3.
TWS's 2nd Japanese single SODA SODA sold 161,253 copies on its first day and hit #1 on the Oricon Daily Singles Ranking dated August 3.
That's already more than the ~150,000 copies their Japanese debut Nice to See You Again (はじめまして) sold across its entire first week. The title track also entered Line Music's real-time Song Top 100 and landed at #12 on the K-pop Top 100 as of August 3.
TWS held a release commemoration event at Tokyo Diversity Tokyo Plaza the day before the single dropped, pulling roughly 10,000 fans. (Sources differ on the exact date—one says August 3, another August 4.) They performed SODA SODA, Nice to See You Again, and 마음 따라 뛰는 건 멋지지 않아?
What comes next is relentless. Fuji TV's STAR on August 6. Mezamashi Wangan Festival on August 7. Summer Sonic 2026 on August 14 and 16. Then the Asia tour 24/7:FOR:YOU rolls through Fukuoka (August 28–30), Hyogo (September 4–6), and Kanagawa (September 12–13).
