W3WAY drops 'Maiden Flight' MV teaser ahead of September 3 full release

W3WAY (위웨이) posted the music video teaser for Maiden Flight on August 25 at 6 PM across official SNS channels. The track anchors their mini album ONE WAY FLIGHT.

Maiden Flight pairs trap production with intense rock, using a pilot's first flight as a metaphor for the thrill and inexperience of first love. The MV concept expands that idea: in a near-future city run by an AI system, seven young people in "District 3"—the city's most underdeveloped zone—find an unidentified VR device. They put it on and enter a massive concert venue with roaring fans, living out the superstar life they'd only dreamed of. The virtual world fractures. The members realize the space is connected to truths the AI has been concealing. They breach the AI system directly, dismantle its control architecture, and launch their own "first flight" toward freedom.

Nine2Entertainment said the music video was "completed in a way that expands the message of the music," noting that the full version on September 3 will show "richer story and things to see" beyond the teaser.

W3WAY announced the comeback on August 13, posting the ONE WAY FLIGHT schedule to official SNS. Individual and group concept images followed before the teaser dropped, with the full MV arriving September 3 at 6 PM.
