wave to earth drop second album 'bad pieces,' announce 30-show world tour starting September

wave to earth released their second full-length album bad pieces on August 7, their first new album in two years since the 2024 EP play with earth! 0.03.

The title nods to John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 Bed Peace protest. Lo-fi jazz anchors the record, but the band pulls in diverse instruments and sounds across its runtime. They frame it as capturing "their current selves honestly."

Eleven tracks total. courage and hyang open the album as double title tracks, then talking 'bout u, everything comes and goes, babo, sing it all again, skylark, cherry flavoured love inside your heart, you, heaven and hell, and closing.

The courage MV arrived with the album. A bed and an observer figure anchor the video, with various characters moving through moments of courage across its runtime—a direct translation of the Bed Peace concept into the present day.

Tours start in September. the pieces tour spans 30 shows across 21 North American cities, 8 Asian cities, and Seoul. U.S. dates include Radio City Music Hall in New York and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
