Yabuki Nako walks TGC Matsuyama 2026 runway, voices lead in anime '縁の手紙' this September

Yabuki Nako walked the runway at SBI証券 presents TGC MATSUYAMA 2026 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION on August 16 at Ehime Prefecture Budokan. She's 24.

Backstage, the cheers hit before she even stepped out. "While I was waiting for the opening, the crowd was incredible," she posted afterward. She thanked attendees directly — "Thanks to your warm smiles and support, I was able to walk the runway joyfully" — and promised to return to Matsuyama.

Nako debuted in 2013 with HKT48's パジャマドライブ, then joined IZ*ONE for COLOR*IZ in 2018. Her acting work since has been steady. Lead roles in 편의점★히어로즈 as Shimamura Mizuki and 얼굴만 선생님 as Sanjo Aika. Multiple projects in 2023: 누마루. 미나토구 여고생, 치유의 이웃에는 비밀이 있다, 18세 새댁 불륜합니다, 연애의 권장. Films 무코타 이발소 and 너는 특별해 rounded out her résumé.

On broadcast she's been semi-regular on TBS's LOVE IT! (ラヴィット!) since 2023. She holds a Monday slot on MBS Radio's アッパレやってます and MCs Wednesday on Bunka Broadcasting's レコメン!. Twin Planet Entertainment represents her.

This September she voices Sori, the lead character in 縁の手紙, a theatrical anime adapted from a Korean webtoon. Crunchyroll Animation is handling overseas distribution.
