YENA performs at 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, announces Aug 22–23 encore solo concert
Choi Ye-na took the stage at Paradise City on July 31, performing with Kim Jae-won and Yoo Jae-seok at the Blue Dragon Series Awards, then announced a two-day encore concert.
YENA performed at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards on July 31 at Paradise City in Incheon's Yeongjeong-gu. She delivered two songs—네모네모 and 캐치 캐치—as the night's congratulatory act.
She opened in character as the 'Love Cell' from the Tving original series 유미의 세포들, then moved into the audience to run through the 캐치 캐치 point choreography with Kim Jae-won, the lead of 유미의 세포들 Season 3. An impromptu dance with Yoo Jae-seok followed. (The crowd didn't see that coming.)
The Blue Dragon Series Awards recognizes works, actors, and production staff from domestic and international streaming platforms. Netflix, Disney+, Wavve, and Tving were among the honorees. Actor Byeon Woo-seok also attended the red carpet event.
The awards show appearance comes after YENA wrapped activities for her fifth mini-album LOVE CATCHER. Her third Japanese single, Mirror Mirror / STAR! (feat. Hatsune Miku), peaked at No. 5 on the Oricon Daily Singles ranking.
