Yeom Seung-i joins mystery thriller 'Wife' as a professor with secrets

Yeom Seung-i is joining Wife, a mystery psychological thriller directed by Lee Soo-sung, as Su-young. She's a university professor and wife carrying secrets.

Su-young anchors the film's tension. Reality blurs with delusion as her husband Ji-man (Ryu Tae-jun), a novelist stuck creatively, grows suspicious and obsessed after they move to a quiet countryside home. He's looking for a fresh start. She has other plans. Her line—"Morbid jealousy, did that happen again?"—cuts straight at his anxiety.

Wife won three awards already. Best Actor and Best Music at the Sinister Horror Film Festival. The Psychological Thriller category at the Bangkok Movie Awards. The film opens in September.
