Baek Ji-young will perform at SUPER CONCERT: SPECIAL at SocialPay Park in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on September 19. It's her first time in the country.
She announced it herself: "Finally going to Mongolia, it's my first visit. I'm nervous."
The 49-year-old debuted in 1999 with Sorrow. Her second album Dash dominated music broadcasts in 2000, racking up nine wins including a Grand Slam. 사랑 안해 (2006) hit No. 2 on Melon's year-end chart. 총 맞은 것처럼 (2008) sat at No. 1 on Music Bank for three straight weeks. The Secret Garden OST contribution 그 여자 (2010) charted at No. 23 on Circle's annual list and No. 91 on Melon's.
Recent activity
She dropped the mini album Reminiscence for her 20th debut anniversary in 2019. Her latest project is the 2024 mini album Ordinary Grace. Back in June, she appeared on a variety show with close friend Rin and discussed her daughter's development (she married actor Jung Seok-won in 2013; their daughter is Jung Ha-im).
The September 19 Ulaanbaatar date is her next scheduled appearance.
