Fourth mini album, one title track, one returning collaborator
D.O. (Do Kyungsoo) releases his fourth mini album DOPAMINE on September 8. The title track is Guitarist, an R&B and soul-based song built on restrained rhythm and guitar layered with his vocals.
PENOMECO wrote the lyrics. He's worked with D.O. before on Fit and DUMB. Guitarist traces the electricity between two people—that moment where music and love collide. Same lyricist, same emotional pull, different sonic world.
What 'DOPAMINE' is going for
The album centers on excitement and love found in ordinary daily life. Those small, quiet moments of pleasure that bubble up from nowhere. Sonically it moves between R&B, acoustic, disco, and ballad—each one a different angle on D.O.'s voice and how he carries emotion.
