EASTSHINE return after 18 months with second single 'EOI_KU'
EASTSHINE returned December 8 with 'EOI_KU', their second single album and first release in roughly 18 months. They marked the comeback with a showcase at Poptist Hall in Seoul.
18 months between releases, then a showcase in Jongno
EASTSHINE dropped their second single album EOI_KU (어이쿠) on December 8. It's been roughly one year and six months since their last release. Member Hyun (현) showed up for the morning showcase at Poptist Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The title track centers on the Korean exclamation "어이쿠!" — that involuntary sound that slips out when something catches you off guard — wrapped in what the group calls their signature upbeat energy.
Same choreographer, new chapter
Camel (카멜) from the global performance crew WE DEM BOYZ (위댐보이즈) choreographed the track. Same person who worked on their previous release. Two albums in, and already a recurring creative partnership.
At the showcase, EASTSHINE laid out their goals: a music show win and a Coachella appearance.
