Kim Gura's remarriage became the reference point

Gree, son of broadcaster Kim Gura, wants to get married and have a child quickly. He pointed directly to his father's life as the reason why. The comments came on Channel A's Sinrang Sueop 2, which aired on September 11.

Kim Gura divorced in 2015. He remarried in 2020 to a non-celebrity woman 12 years his junior, and the couple had a daughter the following year. Gree now has a younger sister 23 years his junior—he watched that transformation up close.

"After the divorce, Dad and I lived together and he said 'I'm fine with just you,'" Gree said. "But after remarrying, he became much brighter and more playful. A younger sibling was born and a new life continued."

Gree's own two-year plan

Gree is currently in a relationship and wants to marry his girlfriend within two years. "I want to have a child quickly," he said. "Dad had me at exactly my current age. I want to get married quickly."

Fellow cast member Rimer sparked the conversation by opening up about his own divorce. "I didn't not make effort," Rimer said. "But now it's harder to meet people. I feel sorry that my experience of failure once might be a burden to the other person."

Gree rejected that framing. "It's not a failure but a process of going to meet a new good person. Don't think of it as a failure."

Rimer also cited Kim Gura directly, calling him a role model—noting that Gura had a child at an age older than Rimer's own. Gree's response was blunt: "Our father is from 정자왕 (a prolific lineage). Masculinity and that are different stories." The audience apparently needed that distinction spelled out.
