Hearts2Hearts debuted in Japan last month with 'ICONIC HEART', a 3-track single. LIGHTSUM is releasing debut doc 'Re' on ABEMA after a 2-year hiatus.

Hearts2Hearts made their Japanese debut last month with the single ICONIC HEART. The title track is a Jersey Club-based dance song built around bright synths and bouncy beats — a deliberate swing at a sound that travels.
The single carries three tracks total: ICONIC HEART (title track), Lemon Tang (previously popular in Korea), and RUDE! (Japanese-language version). Packing two Korea-proven tracks alongside the new title is a straightforward localization play. Give the Japanese market something familiar while leading with something new.
LIGHTSUM is taking a different route into Japan. Since last month, the group has been releasing a debut documentary called Re on the Japanese OTT platform ABEMA, documenting their preparation process ahead of a Japanese debut.
The members went through a 2-year hiatus before this push. Re puts that period on record—the documentary shows their unfiltered side as they work toward the debut. Two years off, then straight to a documentary rollout. Bold reintroduction strategy.
Both groups are moving on Japan simultaneously, with notably different entry points. One leads with music. The other leads with a behind-the-scenes narrative.
