From Pachinko to BIFF's main stage
Kim Min-ha played young Kim Sun-ja in Apple TV+'s Pachinko. On October 6, she'll be the sole MC at the opening ceremony of the 31st Busan International Film Festival.
The timing is tight. She's already deep into her next project: filming the Netflix movie Let's Shake Our Sun (우리 태양을 흔들자), where she plays Woo-ri, a woman who withers away without tomorrow. Lee Do-hyun co-stars as Sun, a man who promises her tomorrow.
The 17kg shift that changed her look
On September 3, Kim Min-ha posted photos on social media with no caption. They spread fast enough to land in headlines. She's said before that she lost approximately 17kg over two years through diet and exercise. The goal was simple: change how people saw her.
