Five months, a completely different sound

Park Jun-il released his second single BREAK IT on September 9, 2026. He performed it live for the first time on MBC Every1 and MBC M's Show Champion that afternoon, before the track dropped at 6 PM.

His first single ECHO came out in April 2026. Where ECHO leaned emotional, BREAK IT shifts hard into colder territory: breakbeat foundation, industrial textures, heavy bass. The song's concept frames it as a rejection of digital constraints—starting from a binary world of 0s and 1s and pushing through the boundary between virtual and real.

From fan meetings to Water Bomb to this

Those five months weren't quiet. After April debut activities, Park Jun-il ran a fan meeting tour across Seoul, Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka, then added a Seoul encore date. In July he performed a snippet of BREAK IT at Water Bomb Seoul 2026 before the track had an official release. Some fans already had a preview going in.

For the Show Champion stage, he showed up in an ash-toned new hairstyle, a black outfit described as uniform-like, and silver accessories. A 180-degree change in charisma and performance style from ECHO.

Two singles in. Park Jun-il is building toward something with a harder, more industrial edge than where he started.
