RESCENE's combined weight falls short of water slide's 180kg minimum — but 'Pretty Girl' just hit No. 1
Four RESCENE members couldn't ride a Gangwon-do water slide—they were 180kg short. Meanwhile, the group just scored their debut broadcast win.
Four members, one slide, not enough weight
Won-i, Rib, Minami, and Jena of RESCENE approached a water slide at a park in Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do. The ride requires a combined weight of at least 180kg for four riders. They didn't have it.
A safety officer told them one more person would need to join. The ride didn't happen. The whole thing was captured in a behind-the-scenes video, 리센느의 마이데이트립 비하인드, posted September 7 on the KBS WORLD TV YouTube channel. Member Mae skipped the attempt entirely—she'd had a bad slide experience before and wasn't willing to try again. That left only four members attempting the threshold.

'Pretty Girl' and a chart reversal two years in the making
The water park clip dropped while RESCENE was riding genuine momentum. Pretty Girl, released July 8, became the group's first music broadcast No. 1 since debut.
Before that came LOVE ATTACK in August 2024, which climbed to the top of multiple music charts roughly two years after its release. Two wins from two different eras, back to back.
