82MAJOR's Nam Seong-mo and Park Seok-jun join Ministry of Education EBS audio series on Oct. 7
82MAJOR's Nam Seong-mo and Park Seok-jun will narrate high school literature classics for the Ministry of Education and EBS's new audio learning series.

Two rappers, two textbook classics
82MAJOR members Nam Seong-mo and Park Seok-jun are set to appear in 아이돌이 들려주는 교과서 속 문학 (Idols Reading Literature from Textbooks), an audio learning series produced by the Ministry of Education and EBS, on October 7.
The 아이돌 오디오 클래스 (Idol Audio Class) invites K-pop artists to read and annotate 30 works from high school literature textbooks, offering accessible commentary on each work's meaning and appreciation points.
Nam Seong-mo will read 이생규장전 (Isaeng Gyujang-jeon) by Kim Si-seup, a biographical novel from 금오신화 (Geumoh Sinhwa), Korea's first collection of classical novels written in Chinese. The story follows a man and woman whose love survives the Hong Gyeon-jeok rebellion and death itself. Park Seok-jun takes on 광화문, 겨울, 불꽃, 나무 (Gwanghwamun, Winter, Fireworks, Trees) by poet Lee Moon-jae. This modern poem uses the tens of thousands of small light bulbs decorating street trees at Seoul's Gwanghwamun intersection to examine environmental issues and the order of nature behind a brilliant cityscape.
Career high, then a sixth concert
The EBS appearance follows the group's strongest chart run yet. Their second single HEAT and its title track Like Fire hit career highs in both album sales and music chart rankings. They claimed their first music broadcast first-place trophy since debuting on October 11, 2023. The six-member group (Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Cho Seong-il, Hwang Seong-bin, Kim Do-gyun) also performed at Idol Radio Live in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
Next: their sixth solo concert, 82CLUB : out of control, at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on October 24 and 25. For a group that debuted in late 2023, the pace is relentless.
Cheer the story
