BESTie reunites as all four members return, 13 years after 'Love Options'
Hyeyeon, Yuji, Dahye, and Haelyeong are reuniting as BESTie. Their 2013 track 'Love Options' just hit Shazam #1 in three countries on its 13th anniversary.
'Love Options' reverse-charting drove the reunion
October 17 marks 13 years since BESTie released 연애의 조건 (Love Options). On that date, the four original members — Hyeyeon, Yuji, Dahye, and Haelyeong — announced they're reuniting as a complete group. No comeback schedule has been released yet.
The song's recent chart surge triggered the move. Love Options re-entered Melon's TOP100 and hit 60th on the daily chart. YouTube Music's Popular Songs TOP100 shows it at 12th in Korea, 17th in Taiwan, and 44th in Vietnam. It's also charting on iTunes and Apple Music across multiple regions.
Shazam tells the story most clearly. The 2013 track reached No. 1 simultaneously in Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand. Early October brought another win: 9th place on Japan's Oricon Weekly YouTube Shorts chart.
The group, then and now
BESTie debuted in 2013 with 두근두근 (Doo-geun Doo-geun). They followed with 연애의 조건 (Love Options), THANK U VERY MUCH (땡큐 베리 머치), Hot Baby (핫 베이비), and Excuse Me (익스큐즈 미).
The members agreed to reunite under the BESTie name in response to the wave of renewed interest across streaming platforms and short-form video. A specific comeback timeline hasn't been announced.
