Chae Jung-an on Paris work trip: award history, Han Yoo-joo style, and a rainy night out
The actress and singer reflected on a Paris business trip while outlets revisited her career awards, from a 1999 New Artist win to three acting prizes.
From a 1999 debut to three acting awards
Chae Jung-an debuted in the Korean music industry in 1999 with her first album Mujeong. That same year she took home the New Artist Award at the 10th Seoul Music Awards. Her second album title track Pyeonji climbed to the upper positions of music program charts. The third album Goddess... Her Fate featured the title track Magic and left a run of stages remembered for their intense concept and performance.
Acting brought more trophies. She received the PD Award in the acting category for The Queen's Classroom (Yeokjeonui Yeowang), then won the Female Acting Award at the 4th Aipan Star Awards for Yongpali. Suits brought a third: the Female Excellence Acting Award at the 11th Korea Drama Awards.
"Rainy Paris" and the 2026 Han Yoo-joo look
On the variety side, Chae Jung-an has appeared as a guest on JTBC's Please Take Care of My Refrigerator alongside actor Joo Sang-wook since 2014.
An October 10 piece caught her mid-Paris business trip, where she was keeping up what the article calls the "2026 version Han Yoo-joo core" style. She broke down the formula herself: consistent hair treatment, fabric choices in silk and cashmere, and capri pants as a styling anchor.
She wrapped up her own trip recap in a single post:
"I was sincere about menu selection at every moment, I liked the 2:8 parting different from Han Yoo-joo's charm, I got value from the coat I prepared ambitiously, and above all, I enjoyed the rainy Paris with our great team."
(The coat getting its "value" — her word — is very much the energy of someone who packed for a purpose and executed.)
