Kassy brings close-range live set to Suwon as 2026 singles run continues
Singer Kassy (Kim So-yeon, 31) took the stage in Suwon recently and has already released three singles in 2026, with OSTs and other projects still coming.
Suwon stage, three singles deep into 2026
Kassy performed in Suwon recently. The crowd greeted her with loud cheers during what the source describes as an intimate live set. She spoke directly to the audience:
"I'm so grateful you welcomed me with such a big cheer — I can't believe I get to sing this close in Suwon."
The timing couldn't be busier. Three singles have already landed in 2026: 그댈 위한 사랑 on February 1, the remake 늦은 후회 on April 1, and 이보다 행복할 수 있을까 (Happy&ing) on June 3. The rest of the year will bring more singles, OSTs, the Nexstar Project, and additional drama OST contributions.
From debut single to four awards
Kassy debuted in 2015 with the digital single 침대 위에서. Her stage name pulls from her real name Kim So-yeon's initials — KSY — plus additional alphabet letters. Her official fan club is Kassyrup (케이시럽).
Awards have accumulated steadily over the years. Female Vocal at the 2019 Brand Award of the Year. The R&B Hip-hop Award at the 29th Hi-One Seoul Music Awards in 2020. Ballad Category Discovery of the Year at the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards in 2020. The K-POP Singer Award at the 29th Korea Culture Entertainment Awards in 2021.
Beyond music
Kassy competed on the rapper survival show 언프리티 랩스타 3 and joined the variety football program 골 때리는 그녀들 as a member of FC 발라드림starting in season 4. In 2024 she stepped into acting, starring as 이나래 in the broadcast drama 매일 재회해 드립니다.
