Kim Ga-eun and Yoon Seon-woo announce pregnancy, just before first wedding anniversary
Married since October 2026, actress Kim Ga-eun and actor Yoon Seon-woo announced their pregnancy via YouTube—complete with ultrasound footage and a surprise reveal.
A baby on the way, one year in
Actress Kim Ga-eun and actor Yoon Seon-woo are expecting their first child. On October 24, Kim posted a video titled 결혼1주년 그리고... ("First Wedding Anniversary, and...") to her YouTube channel. It ended with baby ultrasound footage.
The video also showed Kim surprising Yoon with the news. He found a pregnancy test next to a message reading "Congratulations on becoming a dad" and couldn't hide his reaction. (Very sweet.)
In a caption, Kim wrote: "A baby angel has come to us. Everything still feels unfamiliar, but we'll document our happy daily life with this precious baby."
Ten years to get here
They met on the 2015 KBS2 drama 일편단심 민들레 (Ilpyeondansim Mindeullae), started dating, and married after roughly ten years together. Their wedding was October 26 last year at an undisclosed location in Seoul, attended by family and close acquaintances. The pregnancy announcement came just two days before their first anniversary.
Yoon Seon-woo debuted in the 2003 EBS drama 환경전사 젠타포스 and has appeared in 달의 연인 - 보보경심 려, 서른이지만 열일곱입니다, and 스토브리그. Kim Ga-eun debuted as an SBS 11th public recruitment talent in 2009 with credits including 슈룹, 킹더랜드, and 감자연구소.
