HYO (Hyoyeon) shares shoot behind-the-scenes as busy 2026 run continues after 'MOVEURBODY'
Hyoyeon shares behind-the-scenes photos from a new shoot. It's been a packed year: US tour, F1 Singapore, two unit releases.
New shoot, same momentum
Hyoyeon (김효연, 37) is back on a set. The Girls' Generation main dancer and sub-vocalist posted behind-the-scenes photos from a new shoot, captioning them "Behind" and "the atmosphere at the shooting location is good." It's the latest in a year that hasn't let up.
She dropped the digital single MOVEURBODY (춤춰) on March 23, 2026. That kicked off a run of live dates: RAVE NIGHT HWA:HAP in Seoul in March, HWA:HAP <MORNING RAVE> in June, and a four-city 2026 SUMMER USA TOUR in July hitting Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Denver. On October 10 she performed at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026.
Unit work on top of solo output
Hyoyeon's been juggling units too. Girls' Generation subunit 소녀시대-효리수 released the digital single Skibidi on August 31, 2026, then dropped the 별이 쏟아지는 밤 OST on October 10—the same day as the Singapore GP. She's also in 소녀시대-Oh!GG and GOT the beat.
Her solo work under the name HYO goes back to WANNABE in 2017. Since then: Sober, Punk Right Now, Badster, DESSERT, Second, DEEP, Picture, Retro Romance, YES. Then MOVEURBODY this year. She debuted with Girls' Generation on the 2007 single 다시 만난 세계 and has been building the solo side for nearly a decade.
What the current shoot is for remains unconfirmed.
