KO1KEYZ sell 525K copies in debut week, top Billboard Japan and Oricon charts
KO1KEYZ, a 12-member group from PRODUCE 101 JAPAN 신세계, sold over half a million copies of their debut single in week one, topping both Billboard Japan and Oricon.
525,248 copies in seven days
KO1KEYZ moved 525,248 copies of their self-titled debut single in the first week. That's half a million. The 12 members—Daiki, Issa, Kaito, Kosuke, Ryoga, Ryuji, Shinhaeng, Siyoung, Towa, Yoshiki, Yuki, and Yura—came out of PRODUCE 101 JAPAN 신세계. LAPONE ENTERTAINMENT manages them. The single arrived November 7 as a Korea-Japan release.
Billboard Japan's weekly Top Single Sales chart (November 5–11) put it at number one. The November 14 Billboard Japan Hot 100 also landed at number one. Two charts, one week, first try.
Oricon top-to-bottom
The single debuted at number one on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking on November 6 and stayed in the top five for seven straight days. On the weekly charts, it claimed first on both the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking and the Oricon Weekly Combined Single Ranking. The Oricon tabulation counted 460,018 copies—the highest first-week total for any debut single released this year. It also hit number one on Japan's iTunes Album Chart and number five on the Apple Music Top Album Chart.
The title track KO1KEYZ draws from 1990s lyricism. It captures the instant when everyday life becomes something more: the rush of a first meeting, emotions where the real and imaginary blur together.
Show Champion nomination and Seoul fan meeting
On November 14, the title track earned a nomination for first place on MBC M and MBC every1's Show Champion, weeks after the group's Korea-Japan debut.
KO1KEYZ will hold their first fan meeting, 2026 KO1KEYZ 1ST FAN MEETING IN SEOUL, at Seoul Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall on November 7–8 across four performances. All four sold out the moment tickets went live.
The group will continue with music broadcasts and web content.
