Miss Kim (Kim Chaerin) builds steady trot career from farm to broadcast stage
The Miss Trot 3 Top 7 finalist balances farming and singing in Haenam. She released three tracks in March 2025 and has been hitting KBS stages regularly.

From Haenam fields to national broadcast
Kim Chaerin, 24, goes by Miss Kim. She's a trot singer from Hwangsan-myeon, Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do who farms when she's not performing. TV CHOSUN's Miss Trot 3 final put her in 4th place, securing her spot in the show's TOP7.
Before that came a KBS 1TV appearance on Jeonkuk Norae Jarang's Haenam-gun episode. She sang "Yongdusan Elegy" and "Chueok-ui Soyagok" and won the award of excellence.
Three tracks in one day, then a run of stages
Her official album run started February 29, 2024, with Hongsil. On March 13, 2025, she dropped three tracks at once: Doel Nom, Miss Kim, and Joasseo. The move flooded broadcast and event circuits fast. Doel Nom especially stuck around—it's become a live venue and on-air staple.
KBS 1TV's 6 O'Clock My Hometown featured her in a segment about Haenam's signature seaweed and a special Uiryeong stage where she performed Sarangeui Gamcho and Yeokguri. (The seaweed segment fits perfectly for someone who actually farms.)
Fandom and fan channels
Her fanbase calls themselves Miss Kim Manager (미스김매니저). She stays connected through her YouTube channel, which serves as her main line to fans.
