Netflix launches K-pop arts high school audition show 'We Go High' with SM C&C deal
Netflix is making 'We Go High,' a survival show for Korean arts high school students competing for a real debut. SM C&C is backing it.

Netflix + SM C&C back a new girl group from the classroom
Netflix confirmed production of We Go High (위 고 하이) on October 21. Applications opened the same day. The show follows students at Korean arts high schools as they compete for an actual debut—not just a trophy.
Directors Park Jin-gyeong and Lee Jae-seok of Monstera House are running it.
Who can apply
Current 1st- and 2nd-year students at high schools with arts or broadcasting departments can enter. So can students scheduled to start in the 2027 academic year. Application details are on Netflix Korea's official social media.
The post-debut pipeline
Here's the real angle. Netflix and SM C&C signed a memorandum of understanding to support the winning group after they debut. The companies will handle nurturing, management, and global producing. Both plan to stick around once the program wraps, pushing participants toward actual music careers on the world stage instead of just an audition arc.
We Go High finds the group. The Netflix–SM C&C deal is supposed to take them from there.
