SPICA's Yang Ji-won, 7 months pregnant, shares rib pain update on Instagram
Former SPICA member Yang Ji-won married musical actor Yang Jun-mo on Aug. 31. Now seven months pregnant, she's been posting about sleepless nights and rib pain.

Awake since 4 AM
Former SPICA member Yang Ji-won posted a pregnancy update on Instagram this week. She's in her seventh month and had a rough night. "Now as the baby moves higher up, I wondered if my ribcage would spread further," she wrote. "I experienced the pain of my ribs twisting all night."
She was awake from 4 AM. Too hungry to stay in bed, she got up to make breakfast despite the discomfort. She also shared a photo of her ribcage with the caption: "The reason my ribs are painful now. My ribcage was truly small before."
The wedding they moved up
Yang Ji-won married musical actor Yang Jun-mo—8 years her senior—in Seoul on August 31. She had originally planned to wed in early 2027, but moved the date forward after learning she was pregnant. The pregnancy announcement came alongside the marriage news on August 24.
Yang Jun-mo disclosed at the time that he ended his previous marriage in 2023. "In the time of rebuilding my difficult life step by step, she became a warm support by my side and helped me find laughter again," he said.
Yang Ji-won debuted with SPICA in 2012 and later participated in project group UNITY before transitioning to acting. Yang Jun-mo has performed in Hero, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and Jekyll & Hyde.
